Out of curiosity, we recently sent out an email asking you a simple question: What's you favorite hat style? It was a close run all the way to the finish, but fedora beat out 11 other hat styles, earning almost 30% of all votes submitted. It's easy to see why, the fedora is a classic shape that is easily adaptable to a more modern style.
The New York Times also just posted a New York City street fashion feature, filled with tons of images of people wearing fedoras. Sounds like there's a trend brewing! Below is a list of our favorite picks from hats.com, which will definitely inspire you to add a little extra flair to your look!
The Country Gentleman Tony Fedora Hat has an aerodynamic profile thanks to the illusion of forward momentum created by its cleverly down-in-front, up-in-back brim styling. The Tony is lightweight and cool on your head, but this hat is sturdy and won't lose its shape. It uses a subtle plaid design in the cloth that lets it stand out just enough to be noticed.
Of course we are a little partial to hats.com's Cody, Connor, Caden and Colton. When you have suave style, but want to stand out with independent trend, these hats will be there for you. They are timeless straw fedoras with a generously open weave to keep your head breathing, but the crown tilts just a little off center giving it a crooked cool look all of its own. Stand out from the crowd in these hats exclusively from hats.com, proudly made in the USA.
One of our favorite things about the Bailey of Hollywood Rielly Sewn Braid Fedora Hat is the tie accent around the crown of the hat. Lightweight and low maintenance, the Rielly's "tie" trim beautifully offsets a nicely paper-crafted classic fedora shape.
